At Makers Associates, we had the privilege of bringing Mr. Vinay Chilukuri’s vision to life by designing and constructing a striking modern residence that seamlessly blends contemporary aesthetics with functional design. Every aspect of this architectural masterpiece has been carefully planned to maximize space, light, and urban efficiency, creating a home that is both sophisticated and inviting.
The home’s cuboid structure is a hallmark of modern architecture, emphasizing clean lines and geometric simplicity. A significant portion of the exterior is clad in light brown or beige bricks, adding warmth and texture, while dark contrasting elements, possibly metal or dark panels, frame the windows, balconies, and other architectural features, enhancing visual appeal. The multiple balconies, featuring sleek dark railings, provide private outdoor retreats and panoramic views of the surroundings.
On the ground level, a modern carport with a flat roof, supported by dark columns, offers covered parking for at least two vehicles, seamlessly integrated into the design. The tall and narrow form of the building creates a vertical emphasis, making optimal use of space in an urban or semi-urban setting. The strategically placed windows, varying in size, not only contribute to the aesthetic charm but also enhance natural lighting and ventilation throughout the home.
To bring a touch of nature into the modern setting, planter boxes with greenery are incorporated at the ground level and balconies, complementing the mature trees that surround the property. The flat roof, a defining feature of modern architecture, could potentially serve as an additional functional space in the future. Set against a well-paved road with a strong street presence, this residence integrates effortlessly into its surroundings.
